A Uncomplicated Chicken Recipe - Chicken and Ham Chili Crock-pot - Food - Recipes

This very effortless chili is produced with chicken and ham but ground beef could be substituted for the chicken and or ham if desired. The recipe was based on a number of (edible) experiments in an attempt to match a certain commercial chili originating in Texas. This brand is so widely used that I am told that some men and women who have moved out of the area ordered cases of cans of it shipped to their new residences.

I believe the "magic" ingredient that makes this dish stand out is the use of refried beans in place of pinto beans. Simply because of the high starch content, the refried beans support thicken this dish and also support spread the marvelous flavor. It's so simple to make, I do not see any cause to acquire commercial canned chili, not that I have anything against it.

The ad motto heard a great many times on Tv and I'm certain radio commercials goes like this: How long has it been because you ate "a steamin' hot bowl of X brand chili" Ah -that's too long.

This is not the exact "X brand chili recipe" but it is close adequate that I assume you will like it. To discover 1,700 and counting plus totally free recipes take a look at my web page. Hope you'll like the web page too!
